Pastoral Care

The Pastoral Care ministry is to put into action Christ’s command that we love one another.  As a demonstration of that love, members of the Pastoral Care team serve our brothers and sisters in Christ by meeting their needs in times of personal difficulty, illness, loneliness, and distress.

Services include (but are not limited to):

•     Hospital visits

•     Home visits

•     Nursing Home/Assisted living visits

•     Phone calls

•     Transportation

•     Child/Elder Care (temporary respite care in parishioner’s home)

•     Meal preparation during times of distress

•     Meal delivery

•     Personal note cards

•     Flower delivery

•     Other services as needed/requested

Team members will provide service in one or more of the following areas:  visits to the homebound or hospitalized, phone calls, transportation, occasional child/elder care, meal preparation, meal delivery, and other areas as needs arise.

To serve on the team or to find out more, please call Julie Mulligan at 224-5747 (cell), 767-5265 (home) or email her at Julie@mulliganteam.com.

Do you personally need help or know someone that does? Everyone can participate in this ministry in a very important way:  When you hear about a member of St. George’s family who needs a call, a ride, a visit, or help in some other area, please tell us.  And when you need support, let us know.  Call Julie directly at the number above.
